A Hilarious Mix-Up on the First Day of School

JOKE OF THE DAY: It was this little girl’s first day at a new school, and the teacher asked her what her name was. She replied, “Happy Butt,” with a confident smile on her face. The teacher blinked, unsure she heard correctly. “Honey, I don’t think that’s your real name,” she said gently. “You need to go to the principal’s office and get this straightened out.”

So the little girl marched to the office, cheerful as ever. The principal looked up and asked kindly, “What’s your name?” Without hesitation, she said again, “Happy Butt.” The principal tried not to laugh, but curiosity won. He decided to call her mother to finally clear things up.

When her mother answered, the principal explained the situation politely. There was a pause, followed by a soft chuckle on the other end. “Oh dear,” her mother said, “I can explain everything.” The principal sighed with relief, expecting a simple correction. “Her real name is Abigail,” the mother said, “but she prefers creativity.”

“Last week she called herself ‘Princess Glitter Muffin,’” the mother added. The principal laughed, realizing the girl simply loved making people smile. He walked her back to class and knelt beside her.“Abigail is beautiful,” he said, “but Happy Butt certainly spreads joy.” The class welcomed her back—laughing, smiling, and instantly happier.
